great basin fibershed donation
Consider donating to the Great Basin Fibershed Fund to support the work Great Basin Fibershed is doing to identify and bolster Nevada’s textile economy and its collaboration with Atelier in Reno.
Great Basin Fibershed hosts workshops taught by regional artisans that utilize natural materials, “slow” or by-hand methods. Past events include Mending Happy Hour, Community Indigo Pot, and Mystical Embroidered Patch workshop. Many of these events were funded through a micro-grant, which significantly lowered the cost per person while still allowing for instructors and Atelier in Reno staff to be paid a living wage.
Local Fiber, Local Dye, Local Labor
Please consider a contribution to allow us to continue hosting fibershed based workshops $5-$500.
