Now that you have set up your Cricut and learned the basics, it’s time to explore other materials, tools, and projects. We will be designing, cutting, and assembling a mug with permanent vinyl, a fabric item with heat press vinyl, and full color stickers using the print-then-cut feature.
In this class, we will:
Dive into more advanced techniques and tricks using Cricut Design Space
Learn how to cut, weed, and transfer vinyl to a mug using permanent vinyl and to fabric using heat press/iron on vinyl.
Create full color prints and stickers using the print-then-cut feature
*If you are able, please bring your Cricut and laptop or tablet that is connected to your machine and arrive 15 minutes early to set up your machine. If you are unable to bring your own machine don’t worry, you will still be able to make your project.

Amber Solorzano has been a Renoite since the age of four when her family moved here from New Zealand. She graduated from UNR with a Bachelors in Art and a Masters in Business Administration. She has been creating and crafting since a young age and has worked in every medium there is. In 2022 she decided to open Hold Steady Designs as a side hobby to justify her craft supply spending habit. Hold Steady Designs creates and sells jewelry, clothing, fashion and home accessories with a retro, whimsy vibe full of bright colors and disco balls. You can find her most Sunday’s at the Riverside Farmers Market as well as events throughout Northern Nevada. Amber hosts workshops and “craft bar” events featuring trending craft skills and projects. She chooses projects that even the least crafty person can succeed at.
