This new three-part series is a beginner-level class that will provide instruction for students who are new to watercolor or have worked on their own and are looking for step by step instruction. Students will learn various watercolor techniques such as wet on wet, dry brushing, lifting and much more. Students are encouraged to register for all three sessions to complete the series. Participants may choose to bring their own supplies or purchase a kit (one time fee of $95).

Iva Neveux has been drawing and painting ever since she could hold a pencil or a brush in her hand. As a teenager she attended a graphic art school in her homeland – Czechoslovakia, where she was introduced to a variety of other visual art techniques, including block printing, fiber and textile work as well as clay work. She enjoys teaching how to capture the beauty or our surroundings with watercolors and is excited to help students built their skills in this challenging medium. She also likes to share the traditional Slavic technique of decorating Easter eggs and holiday ornaments.
